i am angered and upset by this story. This man was a minority and he had special needs police should not profile especially someone with disabilities. This is not ok
I hope this young man feels better my heart goes out to them tonight

Not an abyss
I remember on the eve of leaving high school I saw my future as an abyss. Since i do not have a intellectual disability there was not a program I could go too. So i am now in a typical collage program with supports and it is going well. I do wish i had more independent living skills thats why I think programs like this need to be replicated Any thoughts?

New Name and a sad memory
hi guys like the new name. i have heard many people call me Amazing so i thought it be fun to use it.I have yet to blog about what happened to me on (9/11) . I was barley duble digits.( see post below). I was in the forth grade at a public Elementary school. I had a get to know me project do that day and my mom was home ( she normally leaves for work before i go to school. My grandma called my mom who turned on the news. I had a vague idea of what was going on but I think it is safe to say that I did not know that there would be a war that would last longer then a decade.
I Went to school that day and I remember talking about it during circle time. That was one of two times during my school career that I was thanked for coming to school.
If any of you reading this had love ones who died on 9/11 My condolences go out to you. For my blog readers I ask where were you on 9/11
